Brighton on Park
Flanked by a commercial district, fire station, and well-traveled street, 16 town-homes have been designed to fit the new urban fabric of the Issaquah Highlands comrnunity. The units provide a transition and buffer from a single-family district to the denser commercial district and busy street. The buildings are clad in brick, precast concrete sills and copings, and wood bay windows which help define the project’s identity as well as integrating it into the surrounding community.
The sixteen units are divided into 4 buildings, half of which have home offices with entrances directly from the street. Traditional stoops provide access from the street to the raised, residential entrances. The alley between the 4 buildings is similar to a mews that provides access to the garages, space for elevated decks, and a semi private outdoor space for activity and interaction between the residents of the project.
