Haller Lake Residence

This 1960’s northwest contemporary home, sited on a small lake in North Seattle, evolved into a complete remodeling and expansion. Retaining the exist-ing rooflines and extensive use of natural woods further enhances the northwest contemporary style. The project is a series of spaces that reveal the house and site starting at the entry auto courtyard, leading through the house, and ending at the lake. The courtyards, extensive glazing, external columns and trellises connect the architecture with the landscape.
