This 4-unit townhouse design will be used multiple times on multi-family, low rise zoned lots in Seattle. A sense of ownership for each occupant and a single family scale is brought to the project by clearly identifying each unit from the street through the use of separated gable roof forms, individual two story bay windows, and a front porch element.
The townhouses have three bedrooms and an open plan for the living, dining and kitchen areas. Ipe wood with a clear finish is used to define the auto court walls. The project meets the low impact development standards and energy efficiency requirements of the Master Builder Association’s ‘Built Green’ program.
